The school was founded on September 22, 1910 by Justo Sierra. But then it received its autonomy on July 22, 1929.

The Faculty of Medicine, as part of the UNAM, is a public institution, dedicated to create, preserve, develop, interpret and disseminate the area of medical knowledge.

If you want to enter to the UNAM you must have the ability to:

• Apply knowledge of biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics in the solving
  of basic problems and express them graphically.
• Understand the information in the texts of the area of health in Spanish and English.
• Working in teams, with a positive attitude.

You will also need to:

• Have completed high school with average minimum of 7.0 (seven)
• Make the process of admission with all the procedure, requirements and dates.
• Get the necessary points on your admission test (110)

Mentors

Mentoring is a process which comprises, as the start of a target (s) and plan design. In the development of tracking progress, identifying problems and generating options and finally, a closing where the results are evaluated based on achievement of objectives, how the difficulties were resolved and could be improved, to formulate conclusions mentoring process.

The cost of the UNAM ( Believe it or not) is of 25 cents!
